Zoom Breakout Rooms - How to enable and Use

Enable Breakout Rooms on Your Account To enable the Breakout Room feature for all members of your organization: 1 Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an administrator with the privilege to edit account settings.  Click Account Management > Account Settings.  Navigate to the Breakout Room option on the Meeting tab and verify that the setting is enabled. If the setting is disabled, click the toggle to enable it. If a verification dialog displays, choose Turn On to verify the change.  (Optional) Click the checkbox to allow meeting hosts to pre-assign participants to breakout rooms.

Zoom Scheduling App on Your Desktop or Laptop

Access : Sign Up Free or Sign In Scheduling through the Zoom online platform can be a bit confusing at times. There are a LOT of options and tabs to choose from. The Zoom app for your desktop or laptop computer simplifies scheduling, though. Here’s how to download it: 1.  First, point your browser to https://zoom.us/support/download A download should automatically begin. You will be prompted to run a file – click on it to run and follow any prompts: 2. To add the Zoom app as a desktop icon, click on your ‘Search’ option and type in ‘Zoom.’ 3.  Right click on the Zoom app and click on ‘Pin to Start. 4. The Zoom icon will now be pinned to your taskbar at the bottom of your screen for easy access. 5.   Simply click on the icon to open the app and begin scheduling! Working Remotely

Before You Begin: There are several things you should do to prepare for remote work Charge  laptop, tablet or any battery powered device you use when remote. Make sure you have a  charger or  portable battery charger  to keep when remote.  Verify your  Internet access  is sufficient to connect to WISD resources by testing at a time when it is not required to get your work done. Review the list of available connection options. Test your connection  before you need it Have a set of headphones or earbuds nearby to plug in in case of microphone and/or speaker issues.
